BRIEF

To produce and implement a characteristic tour programme with a creative social content, that reflects Scandinavian history and traditions as well as present day lifestyle.

LOGISTIC REQUIREMENTS

To organise an 8 day programme with deluxe accommodation, all inter-Scandinavian surface and air transportation, all excursions, all off-site meals, welcome receptions and dinners in 4 major Scandinavian cities, 1 gala dinner in the Vasa Ship Museum in Stockholm – a social programme that encompassed, amongst other features, catering in 9 different venues.

PROGRAMME

The event was organised for a group of 126 persons, arriving and departing Scandinavia on two separate flights. The group stayed 2 nights in Copenhagen, 1 night in Gothenburg, 2 nights in Oslo and 3 nights in Stockholm. The group enjoyed such high profile and exclusive features as check-in receptions in Copenhagen and Stockholm, dinner in Gothenburg at a Michelin-starred restaurant for exclusive use with entertainment programme, a private cruise on the Oslo Fjord and the gala dinner with the awe-inspiring, historic Vasa warship as the backdrop, which was complemented by a Romeo & Juliet show, especially choreographed for the venue. Of course, the programme also allowed time for the participants to enjoy sightseeing excursions in each city.

IN PRACTICE

Preparations and planning commenced 8 months prior to the event and throughout this period, one of First United’s Spanish speaking project managers was dedicated to the event. During implementation, the event management team –in addition to the project manager – comprised 3 full time, Spanish speaking tour directors and 3 Spanish speaking destination guides in each city.

RESULT

Lilia Morales, Amparo Servicios Turisticos: “Dear Joanna, I thank you for all your attention to our group. Eleazar Pinto (the client, ed.) told me that the participants were very happy with the trip. Thank you for all your help and efforts”.
