The Royal was conceived by the (then) ultra-modern Danish architect Arne Jacobsen, who also designed everything inside, from panels, doorknobs and furniture to lamps, kitchenware, textiles, and choice of colours. It is said that he wandered the restaurant at night, rearranging table settings and décor to achieve total perfection!
Practically all rooms have a stunning view over Copenhagen’s rooftops and are all equipped with toilet and bath, hairdryer, trouser-press, iron and ironing board, bathrobe, cable TV with pay channels, high-speed Internet access, safe, mini-bar, and coffee and tea facilities. The restaurant Alberto K on the 20th floor caters to a diner’s refined senses with a mix of Scandinavian and new Italian cuisine, garnished with clean-cut Danish design. Café Royal still features the original Jacobsen settings, and the Royal Bar with a piano lounge mood prides itself with serving the world’s most expensive cocktail! The Royal offers an elaborate fitness centre with sauna, solarium, Scandinavian massage, exercise room and cosmetologist.

Conditions
Reservations will only be confirmed as definite upon receipt of a deposit equivalent to 25% of the value of the arrangements requested.
Payment for a further 50% of the value of the arrangements requested must be received by our bank not later than 60 days/2 months prior to provision of the first service/arrival.
Payment of the balance must be received by our bank at least 30 days/1 month prior to provision of the first service/ arrival.
Reservations which are requested less than 2 months prior to provision of the first service/ arrival will only be confirmed as definite upon receipt of a deposit equivalent to 75% of the value of the arrangements requested.
Reservations which are requested less than 1 month prior to provision of the first service/ arrival will only be confirmed as definite upon receipt of full prepayment for the value of the arrangements requested.
